Flyboard Air Video

Roles: Video Editing, Motion Graphics

This video was made to help explain how the Flyboard Air works and explain the many safety features designed into it.  The video was shot in France and features Franky Zapata, the inventor, demonstrating how the Flyboard Air can continue flying with one of its engines disabled.  A challenge of this edit was making an unscripted shoot appear and sound like it was.  Also, English is Franky's second language, meaning Franky was not only winging what he was saying, but occasionally struggled with is wording.  To give this video a good structure and flow required patient review and restructuring of an hour's worth of improvised narration.  Motion graphics and titles were created in After Effects to help illustrate what was being discussed.
